train pet mouse? bribe it with food

Want to train your pet mouse? simply bribe it with food as often as possible (stuff they dont usually get like peanut butter), and hold them for brief periods daily, eventually they will come running to you.

hi i've just rescued two 6 wk old female mice from RSPCA, I've left them alone for a few days to get them used to their new home and my voice but now when i try to lay my hand in the cage either with food on or without, they nip my hand and fingers :( any tips?

@inthepink4 some mice are biters, you will have to be careful when handling them, then again they may just be curious. I would personally lift them out and handle them for short periods of time, until they realized the hand was not for biting.

Thanks 4 making this video!!! I have a brown fancy mouse named Ratatouille, and he is VERY timid!! I tried this for the first time a lil bit ago, and within a few minutes he we licking my hand my grabbing off the cheerio!!! first commenter!

@allycarleigh444 a little bribery goes a long way in earning TRUST, sometimes the mice from shops are just traumatized, but when they realize all is well in their world they get pretty fearless.

do you use honey nut cheerios or just regular cheerios? The reason i ask is because honey nut cheerios have frosted honey on it and i'm wondering if this can give them lots of sugar for them to go sick and unhealthy or somthing?
