A track I made years ago featuring a friend of mine on vocals (sampled) who worked with/for Can the German 'krautrock' band. His vocals also featured on an album of Can's, it was one of those compilation albums of bits and bobs of old recordings that never made it to the well known albums, including a number of tracks called the 'ethnic forgery series', all great stuff!

I played the drum track that was the source for the 2 bar drum loop, my friend came up with the concept of the cosmic/universal chord that is being filtered and panned around. The 10/8 or 5/4 drum loop almost has a swinging feeling to it, it was inspired by Jaki Liebeziet's playing as are many of the odd time drum rythmns that I play.

Huge respect goes out to Can especially Jaki! one of the great drummers of the last 40 years!

I have posted this as a video response to the Can video because of the slight connections with Can, it is not posted as a comparison!
