This is one of the new restaurants in DCA, right next to Boardwalk Pizza. The entire area has been completed remodeled and re-opened just a couple of months ago after some major construction. The Paradise Grill serves Greek food, something entirely new to the Disneyland park.

  • It's not a pita, it's a giro bread. (Which would be considered a Greek flatbread). And do you know how many foods (Cooked and uncooked) have lemon in them?! You must have a hard time eating. Everybody's different, however. I'm grateful not to be a picky eater. I appreciate quality, mind you, but I'm not picky. It provides me a vast array of culinary experiences. And 99% of the time anything Disney is quality. I love eating at the resort; It enhances the experience.

  • @kdm71291 If we're going to pick nits, then it's not "giro", it's "gyro" :-).

"And do you know how many foods (Cooked and uncooked) have lemon in them?! You must have a hard time eating."

Not at all, because there are relatively few foods that have lemon in them. Now if we're talking corn, then that's a different story, because it's in almost everything.

I agree with you though, eating at the resort is an experience all its own.

  • @AMouseAndADream Yes, I meant GYRO. As I recall, I was speaking of what it's called or what it actually is, not necessarily the spelling, but that's ok. My reference to lemon was directed to it being an underlying ingredient, not necessarily a main flavor. I love food, cooking and have cooked professionally. I can tell you that the juice of half a lemon, a whole lemon or a teaspoon or tablespoon of lemon juice is a small but important ingredient in MANY recipes. I just wanted to be clear. Thanks

  • @kdm71291 Lemon is used in many things as an ingredient for its acidic qualities. What I don't personally care for is the taste of lemon in non-dessert foods. I figured from my reference to it in the video that that was obvious.

  • hey, we were just there - certainly an awesome experience!

  • @AMouseAndADream Yes, that's precisely what I was referring to. I understand that it's a personal preference thing. Please pardon me for overstating the obvious. It happens. :-)

  • And there's my break room right behind that wall....hahaha.

  • @Gardeninggirl1107 C'mon be nice he was doing it the way he wanted to eat it.
