"Alright, I"ll take Nick's car and come get you. Where are you?" She asked. "Ocean East Buffet! And hurry!" I say. I go back out to Joe. "Nick's coming to get me." I lie. His face expression turned gloomy. "What’s wrong? Is it my hair? Oh my god it is!" He says as he takes his phone and fixes his hair. I laugh a bit. "No, a family thing came up." I lie again. Sel calls me. "Hey Dems, I'm here." She says. "Okay I got to go. He's here. I'll call you tomorrow." I say hugging him and running out front.

Dirk sees me and follows me. "Demi! What's wrong?" He asks grabbing my right forearm. "Get off of her Dirk!" Selena yelled. He let go and backed up. I got into the car and Sel drove off. "Your boys gonna get it! If I can't have you neither can he!" Dirk yelled. Sel and I drive to the lake we used to go to when we were in junior high. When we got there, it started to snow flurries. In a few weeks it will be Christmas. I sit on a rock putting my coat on still crying looking at the frozen lake. Sel came up from behind me and hugged me.

"Demi he won't hurt you. I won't let him. Neither with Joe, Miles, Liam, Nick, everyone! We won't let him hurt you!" She said reassuringly. I turned towards her. "Sel, I haven't told Joe or Miley about the baby. Plus no one in my family knows. Please don't tell anyone." I cry. I stand up and Sel pulls me into a hug. "I promise Dems." She cries. It felt good to be with Sel. If we were fighting or not she was always there. We stayed a little while longer and watched the snow create a blanket on the ground.

"If you could wish for anything this Christmas, what would it be?" Sel asked. I shrugged. "A white Christmas." I say. "Same here." Sel said. She drove me home and parked in the driveway. We walked up to my room. "You don't have to stay overnight Sel. I'll be fine." I say turning on my bedroom light. I see my curtains open so I run across the room and shut them. "Dems, Dirk hurt you. He raped you and bruised you up bad cause you were hanging around Joe, Zac, and Liam. Please, I don't want my best friend hurt anymore than she is." Sel said. "Fine, just tonight." I say. I lend Sel a pair of pj's and we watched a movie and pass out.

"Dems wake up!" Three year old JoJo said. Seven year old Demi got out of bed racing Nick and JoJo downstairs to the Christmas tree. The next thing they saw was a lot of boxes in many different designs and colors. "Merry Christmas!" Daddy and Mommy said as they came out from behind the tree. We run down the stairs and to the presents. We were opening box after box. "Demi, what’s that black box in the back?" Mommy asked me. I stood up and pushed through my mountain of wrapping paper. I sit down and open the box to see a brand new Yamaha guitar.

"Santa got me a guitar!" I yell. "No, I did!" Daddy said. I jumped up and hugged him tight. "I'm gonna practice all the time!" I say happily. I start to play, like fooling around. Everyone gasped. "Demi you're a natural!" Daddy said. I smiled. I loved it!
