I've shot a D90 all basketball season because my D300 has been at the camera doctor for quite some time haha. Oh, I shoot with an 80-200 on fully manual control by the way.
@johnjohn129 I shoot everything now at 1/320th of a second, F2.8 and 1250. I see with my aperture not wide open, I get more pictures of were the body of the player is totally sharp instead of, say a leg at 1.8. What camera are you using? The more pixels you have, the more pixels will by fit into the smaller sensor of DX (APS-C) style cameras - thus leaving more room for error due to the higher amount of pixels. High school gym?

@juniortrooperfuture Using a D90 in a high school gym. Are you keeping it on Auto or you shooting Full manual?

@juniortrooperfuture Im using my 35mm f1.8 at basketball games. Im getting nothing but noice with anything above 1600 iso...Any suggestions?

@prasannakeshav Yes, shot from baselines of the bball court. Varied between each gymnasium. 400-800
