highly doubt a single game will bring back the fighting game genre to what it was first at. I think SF4 is the very first fighting game to give the genre a boost.. but honestly, I don't think it'll be enough.

You type like a 13 year old, so you're probably too young to appreciate a fighting game with proper mechanics. I'm guessing you want a super cool graphically appealing fighting game where you can do super moves that blow up the universe with one button.
Go play 3rd Strike, and tell me you'd still want a 3D SF game.

MK didn't contribute at all. It's been 3-D since 2002. And their recent games have sucked shit.
