An Interesting looking plant, with semi-glossy Dark Purple to Black Leaves. It almost looks Plastic...
It prduses heaps of shiny Black chilli's that ripen to a bright Red,, they grow to about 50cm...

the wife has a few of these inside as thinks they look nice, and in small pots they stay small so ideal for window box's

they taste ok too :D

i love em,, and yea don't look to bad then pop 1 :-) well ya got lots of pods, so plenty of seeds for next yrs, plus those 1's should keep going too..

the wife put 3 lil 1's round house on window sills,, she thinks they look great, im not gonna complain :)

I love these peppers, they have an interesting burn. It actually takes afew seconds for the heat to appear. It isn't an overwhelming painful burn, but a gradual pleasant burn.

I bought some of the black pearl and also 4 orange habaneros and i got them home and took them out of the car and put them near my house ready to pot them up the next day , when somone decided to come over and steal all of my chillie plants , pots and all, i hope they forget to wash there hands and take a piss when they get home and burn the top layer of skin of his oldfella, oh and also rub his eyes, teach him a lesson.annyway i went and bought some more the next day.

I have these in my backyard and they are SO potent that when my Son got out of our pool after I was removing some of the berries, I lightly touched his back without thinking twice about it.

15 minutes later he hand finger marks on his back that were bright red and he was screaming in pain because "my back is on fire".

Poor little guy I felt so bad after. he is only 5yrs
