Patriot Days at Yellow Creek Park July 2nd

Picnics. Pioneer Village. Prizes. Free pocket-sized editions of the United States Constitution! These are a few examples of what the Rand Paul Campaign is looking forward to at this years Owensboro Kentucky Patriot Days Celebration.

The purpose of this fun-filled event is to educate young people about the principles our founding fathers held and defended so heroically. This emphasis on the foundation on which our country was built coincides perfectly with Dr. Pauls belief in small, limited government, a government for and by the people. In their efforts to convey this important message to all attendees, the volunteers hosting the event will pass out pocket Constitutions to all guests.

In addition to the good food, games, displays, and gifts, Dr. Paul will take a few moments to speak to those gathered about his exciting new campaign and the return to true Republican roots which he desires to bring to Washington. All who are Rand Paul supporters or who want to set aside a day to celebrate our countrys principles of freedom are invited to attend. Simply bring a picnic and some blankets or lawn chairs, or you may choose to take advantage of one of the park shelters instead.

According to the Owensboro Patriot Days blog, Patriot Days will be celebrated in Pioneer Village at Yellow Creek Park. The details are as follows:

Date: Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

Time: 4:00 PM 8:00 PM

Address: 5710 Hwy 144, Owensboro, KY 42303

Website: owensboropatriotdays.blogspot.com

The events website contains planning updates and lovely photos of the parks village and shelters as well.

The Patriot Days venue, purpose, and activities are designed for an evening of family-centered fun and education. Come celebrate our country, our independence, and the hope that Dr. Rand Paul gives us for our governments future.

  • This guy could be President someday. He has the unction, which unfortunately is necessary in politics, that his father lacks.

  • I'm posting this for the 3rd time...

I wish I had someone like Dr. Rand Paul running here in New York.

  • Wow, Rand gave an enormous speech. Very very articulate and intelligent. Powerful in one word.

  • you are absolutely right. true change is warranted in the primaries, because it scares the hell out of leaders when their front runner is suddenly 20 points behind everybody else. change should not be brought about in November by shoeing the other guy in.

  • Get out the word !! Pass out DVD's, CD's, pamphlets, call radio shows, bug you local TV channels to interview Dr. Paul, put out bumper stickers, flyers, anything !! We need more men like Rand Paul in Washington DC. Good Luck from where the stars at night are big and bright. Paul 2010 !!

  • Fantastic ... simply a shame our political machines along with a pathetic media and indifferent population negate those few who care and think. Great job Rand,

  • Get em Rand!!

  • We MUST elect Rand Paul!

Unfortunately, we will only elect him by steamrolling over the leadership of the Republican Party of Kentucky and the national GOP leadership. Rand Paul embodies the values and beliefs of true conservatism, but the GOP has already picked Trey Grayson (the ex-Democrat, prior Bill Clinton delegate). It's pathetic.

Let's tell them who WE want for a change, instead of letting them pick our candidates.

The race is NOW! It's decided in the primary when nobody is watching!
