@kevyoung980 You are a retard. This system is built by Lockheed Martin which bought Vought who design it here in the USA. Israel has them along with several other countries but they did not design the MLRS or the HIMARS. The GLMRS rounds are gps guided and also build by Lockheed Martin. Please do not call people names when you have no idea what you are talking about. I work for Lockheed and worked on this system while I was in the Army.

A - Aircraft are about 50 times more expensive, and need to be refueled. Also, they are only useable for a few minutes, once they have dropped their bombs, thats it. An MLRS is so much easier to maintain and resupply, and it gives troops on the battlefield acess to lots of heavy firepower when its needed, not when the aircraft get there, or if.
