Biograph is a documentary film exploring the connection of director Bob Blinn's family to Ireland, Chicago and each other. It contains 70 year-old 16mm footage shot by Bob's family. It also includes recordings made by them on cardboard 78 rpm records. This is a 3 minute excerpt.
I like family histories. It's always amazing when you can track things down using the relatively new inventions of photography and moving pictures. I wish I could do the same, but my sister decided to destroy almost all of our family pictures due to her mental instability. I'm happy that you still have these precious pics & films. :)
