In 2004 'South West Trains' withdrew its Class 411/5 '4-CEP' units from service as the slam door fleet were replaced by Class 450/444 Desiro units. Here we see a few short clips of the CEPs in service during 2004
I drove these for over 20 years and never had any trouble with them. They were good fun to drive compared to the modern trains...and not a data-corder or micro-chip in sight.
always good when it was heavily raining and a 12 cep went belting through! should see some CIGs soon though cos Knights Rail has bought two of em for mainline use!
The really do get around, these things! Very sprightly!

At 02:15 it's nice to see the contrast between modern EMUs and the old Slammer stock.
