Google SketchUp is used in institutions of higher education worldwide. Educators and students in the fields of architecture, urban planning, engineering, construction, interior design, industrial design, graphic design, film and stage design are all using SketchUp. This case-study highlights three schools using SketchUp in different disciplines.

  • I want Higher Educationnnnnn!!!!

  • Maybe they should think about investing in a microphone...

  • SketchUp would make a really good design engine for Minecraft. Adding support probably wouldn't be too difficult and I am sure Mojang would be happy to support a joint venture.

  • Sketch up rocks!

  • Sketchup is great but google you charge way to much for the pro version! Isnt there like a program where students can get it for free? There really should be a way of students to get this program without forking out a fourtune!

  • why would anyone use sketchup instead of blender or a real cad program?

  • @Smilingiskool Well if you do ever find yourself interested in the program just look it up it's a good program. Good luck with your ed classes

  • @CityKid206 @CityKid206 I hadn't so I looked it up, and they're both owned by Autodesk! I would probably look more into Revit, but I don't think I'm going to major in design. (I'm in high school taking continuing ed classes.)

  • YAY Sinead, Roger and Bobby!!
