Jack;; Part Two

When we both got to my house we walked in and Joe was holding me close the whole time. I saw my mom, she was in tears, 'Is it true?'

I took a deep breath, I knew exactly what she was talking about, 'No...Shannon killed herself'

My mom choked out the words, 'Are you taking drugs?'

A tear slid down my cheek slowly thinking about what happened that night, its like that night is the only thing going on in my mind, and it scares me. I spoke slowly, 'No, it was one time, mom'

My mom jumped up and hugged me really tight, 'Well move, well end this, dont worry sweetie.'

Joe rubbed my back as I hugged my mom, 'Mrs. Peterson, Ill take her upstairs'

My mom pulled back from the hug with me and hugged Joe, 'You are truly amazing, and Im grateful that you and my daughter are together.'

Joe hugged my mom back, 'Dont worry; Ill always be with her.'

Two days later I loaded my last suitcase into my black Volvo. Joe was waiting patiently on my porch; I walked over to him slowly taking in the sweet smell of Jacksonville. Joe pulled me onto his lap, 'Baby, there was a letter on the ground' He held it up and handed it to me.

I took it out of his hand calmly and opened the envelope, I read;

Hey Belle,
I hear youre leaving, sad isnt it? Maybe you should you stay around and find out who I am. If you stay Ill reveal myself to you and your infamous boyfriend how does that sound? Great, Ill see you and your boyfriend behind the school tomorrow at 2:45PM. Remember to bring ALL of the letters I gave you, I would love to see my work. If you dont come, have fun in Houston, its a big coincidence, Im moving there too.

I looked up at Joe, 'Read this, Joe' I gave it to him; it was shocking that I will finally be able to know who is Jack. Id know whos been harassing me, Id know who hates me so much to do this to me.

Joe read it and looked at me, 'Do you want to go?'

I nodded quick, 'I need to know who this person is'

Joe put his forehead gently against mine and stared me in the eyes, 'Well go.'

I hugged him tight, 'Thank you...now help me find all the letters?'

Joe asked, 'Did you save them all?'

I gave an innocent look and nodded, 'Yeah'

Joe sighed, 'Okay, lets go look'

I got off of his lap and grabbed his hand pulling him up and we walked inside and up to my bedroom looking for the 23 letters Ive gotten from Jack. Joe opened a drawer and pulled out a stack of papers and pictures wrapped in a rubber band. I took the stack gently out of his hand and held it, looking down at the different color papers, 'I...I never thought it would stop'

Joe hugged me, 'I know baby, I know.'

The next morning seemed long and tiring, I had no patience to wait for hours on end. Joe sat on my bed and watched me draw random pictures of him and I from a picture we had taken before all this madness started.

Once 2:25PM rolled around Joe stood up and took my hand and helped me up from my desk chair and we walked down to his silver Camry. It didnt take too long to get there, ten minutes tops. Joe held my hand as we walked behind the school and we waited leaning up against the brick wall of the school.

Five minutes past and no one showed up, but suddenly a paper airplane flew by Joe and I and I picked it up from the ground. I opened it and read;

Dear Miss Belle,
I must say, Im thrilled to know you and Joe Jones are here waiting for me, I want you to wait a second and I will show up in a mask, you will have to guess who I am. After the third guess, Ill just tell you, but thats only if I see a stack of letters in your hand. Ill see you soon, dont try to miss me.
