Dopo insistenti richieste da parte dei clienti professionisti, la ditta Extrema Ratio ha deciso di realizzare un attrezzo da sopravvivenza adatto ad ogni situazione.
Da qui nasce lOntos, (dal greco "la cosa") un coltello da campo puro, robusto, pesante ma compatto. Una porzione della lama è seghettata per avere una parte del coltello sempre affilata e pronta alluso.
Il fodero cosciale in nylon con sistema M.O.L.L.E. rimane sul soldato anche quando in caso di ripiegamento è costretto ad abbandonare lequipaggiamento primario, pesante e tattico. Al fodero è fissata una tasca, anchessa con sistema M.O.L.L.E., contente un survival kit che rende lOntos un vero e proprio coltello da sopravvivenza; in aggiunta uno stick fluorescente (durata 12 ore) ed un affilatore diamantato.
Il Kit di sopravvivenza contiene:
* contenitore per lacqua
* pasticche depurative acqua
* laccetto in nylon
* mini bussola
* candela
* pietra focaia
* sega a filo
* kit pesca
* multi-tool
* fiammiferi
* kit ago e filo
* lametta
* fischietto di emergenza
* filo di rame
* specchietto SOS
* lapis
* istruzioni per la sopravvivenza (in inglese).

Ive got one and it doesnt make coffee. Almost works as well as a wad of C-notes and a Sat. phone.

@davidmoon02 Man .. it's not saw, it's jus way of making a combo blade. Instead of wasting your main blade for serration, they just made it on the top for easier cuting things like plastic wire etc. which are hard to "start cutting" by plain edge .

Extremas knives have a good design, and the n690 steel seems good, but I'll not buy anything from them to survive in the field!!!!!
Imagine all the things that you CAN'T do with a such small saw on the back..... Why....?? Just for the look....? Pfffffff
