@buxaxaxa1 The explosions are the anti-lag system.
Anti-lag systems dump fuel into the exhaust manifold to create explosions after the throttle has closed to spool the turbo even when you're not on the throttle. This means you're closer to full boost even after letting off the throttle mid corner and results in a much more responsive engine on the corner exit.
Older anti-lag systems usually meant you would damage the turbo eventually, but the newer systems are much easier on the motor

@kingaurthur13 If it's turbo yes, but you would destroy the turbo and the engine in less than an hundred of kilometers. These people with rally cars keep changing the components of their cars so it's not a problem for them.
