Bad News Day for Rudy Giuliani

the International Association of Firefighters held their Presidential Forum and Rudy "America's Mayor" Giuliani was MIA. President of the Association Harold Schaitberger appeared on Hardball last night and had some extremely harsh words for Rudy and his ;egregious acts; against the FDNY in the days and weeks after 9/11.

No offence bud, and please don't get me wrong, I appreciate and sympathize with police and have met some very nice ones, but firefighters have a better reputation as a whole.

Can't really compare them though, they serve different useful functions and it's a biased comparison because firefighters don't punish people and put them in jail. They also don't tend to beat people up or kill them (at least not purposefully).

Why are we fighting anyway? Peace, officer [08!

right the doctors that ignore thier oath and prescribe drugs that kill people make tons of money but those that dont actually lose thier right to practice.they are targeted and forced to retire from the medical field.

I have read that doctors (specifically obstetricians) actually make money off of the medications that they prescribe- almost like a commission. But I do agree that the whole system is messed up.

well actually not really...many Doctors are far in debt because they dont make enough money..drug companys and hospitials make billions but doctors are just workers.i know a few doctors that when its all said in done make 14-15dollars an hour.and out of this money they have to pay for thier own,houseing,school loans,insurance,ect..the whole system needs to be worked over cause to many insurance and private people makeing billions while actual workers make nothing.

Doctors need raises? This is kind of OT, but I don't think doctors need raises. If anything they need reductions in med school bills and malpractice insurance, but other than that they make plenty of money.
