The SRT6 was only available with an automatic! The standard car could be had with either, but the manual couldn't handle the SRT6 horsepower. Yep, I hate that, too! Guess it wasn't worth beefing up for that few cars.

Top gear tested the normal crossfire not the srt6 version and defiantly not a convertible.

@MUNCHYzZ why is driving an automatic make someone a pussy? mercedes are all autos. not everyone wants to be stuck in traffic with a manual gear box. i for example like my cars auto and my speed bikes manual

@baddestbart i have seen the show and top gear hasnt said 180 u hav to watch it more carefully xD they said that it is aerodynamicly limitied to 155 and that this car is the worst of all cars they have ever tested and i am just going by what they said xD

yeah i hate when ppl look at the gauge and say it only guess 160 my SRT-4 230 hp version topped off at 152 so ur tellin me my 300 whp SRT-4 tops off at the same? i cant stand when ppl dont know what there talking about or when those gauges are just crap lol

True, the car won't do 200mph, but that is because it is electronically limited to 158. And, it will get to 158 very quickly. Also, the car is 90% Mercedes. The entire drivetrain is Mercedes made. The engine is an AMG, hand built engine. It's an incredibly high quality car that will outperform most cars on the road today. The best news is that if you can find one, you can buy them cheap. For now, anyway. There were fewer than 3,000 SRT's made, so it is destined to be a collectable.
why would you own FIVE if you dont really like them thats the most fake story i have heard for awhile dude, maybe you owned a SRT-6 why would u have owned that and 4 base models? ecspecially if you didnt like it
