Listened to all the great power trios; rush cream etc...(know joy division is not really a 3 piece) and hooky, stephen and barney are up there with the best; they created some of the greatest music of the 20th century.
IAN 's lyrics are universal and personal, in one simple sentence, that is equally devastatingly profound,uplifting, esoteric and understood.
Simply.... there is no other poetry like it in the rock world.
up there with the beatles stones and other recognized greats.

@jeffjohnston123 Indeed it is from Les bains, i have an audience tape from that gig which ironically is complete whereas the official CD album is not.

This is on the CD, but it's not from Les Bains Douches. Pretty sure it's from Einhoven, actually.

As people will know not all tracks on the cd are from the les bains douches gig.I have a full audience recording of the les bains show.
