Got my white Brando iPhone Power station in the mail today. Not bad, about 1 week delivery.

There are no instructions to speak of, but really... what type of instruction do you need. Plug in the sync cable to charge it, press the arrow to test it, plug it into the iPhone to charge it.

Build quality seems fairly nice and it appears to do it's job. I received it just in time for a family vacation this weekend and I'm sure this will come in handy with the iPhone 3G's shorter battery life.

  • It should work fine with your 3GS and iPod classic. There are many different options available these days.

  • QUESTION: if you plug this into the ipod touch, when u wiggle the device will it easily fall out? i have another brand of a portable charger and it never clips into the ipod device becuase it doesnt have the two tiny "Clips" on each end of the charger input that plugs inside... please i would like to know before i buy..

  • @empi1290 This video was made about 2 and a half years ago. It's possible the design has changed since then. However, my version does not have the little clips that hold the device attached. The connection is pretty tight when new, however, I have experienced the problem with accessories which use the dock connector becoming very loose with repeated use. I have to say that I never really use this accessory as I thought I would. I've literally used it to recharge my iPhone about 4 times.

  • if your phone is completely dead, will the fully charge it to 100 percent?

  • I have not tried to completely charge the iPhone battery with it. My battery was about 75% drained at one time and I connected the fully charged brando pack to it. About 30 min later, my iPhone was almost full. I would not expect a full charge from completely depleted. But it does a pretty good job in a pinch.

  • wow ur video camera is nice... what kind is it?

  • It's a canon S5 IS.

  • hey !! i bought THIS too on ebay from THE SAME SENDER in hong kong :D lolz xD

  • that's so true! If you buy that power station crap then it would be unefficient. If you already have rechargeable 2500mah AA batt that would hold more energy like you said... i would rather have more energy to charge than less energy because the more energy that it holds... the longer it takes to charge. At the same time, i bet it takes like 12 hours to re-charge those batt? but the good side is, it holds more than power station
