@ahooga What an oversimplification of the free market vs socialized democracy debate.
What happens if you 're born in a really poor family, while another less talented/skilled person is born in a really rich family? Is this fair? The "cream" in this case will probably never rise to the top because it will be extremely hard to get there. However, the rich person is born near the top and will just rise there with little to no effort.A fair system should address that issue. (see social liberalism)

She is a hero but her macroeconomics are not very strong, to put it politely.

Thinking for yourself.. I doubt it.

@aussieguy2109 I agree on that one. I rather have no one rules anything! Everybody should be free from ruling, to be have real freedom among this world.
-
@hakimborras ok alot of those muslims who died, died because of sectarian violence that was because of religious differences. Religion should never be defended at the cost of human life, what should be defended are secular values such as freedom of speech, equality, women's rights, minority rights, gay rights and freedoms that people enjoy. America has a imperialistic agenda there is no denying it, but would you rather have have iran rule the middle east?
-
@aussieguy2109 Yes, you spoke true! Is the same to us and to you. We both are threat, millions of muslims (women and children, civilians and soldiers) they all alredy death, also thousands of americans (civilians ans soldiers) they all redy death. And both Nations are fighting for a cause: One of them is the aggressor, and the other is defending his land, religion and law. One of them has a imperialistic agenda in the entirety islamic nation.
-
@hakimborras no morality and social rules are not always the same. Also what is the price of leaving islam if you are born into it and later disagree? death maybe?
In democracies everyone is treated the same regardless of their stupid faiths. till for islam to get with the program the western world will not change to suit it, it must change to suit the western world.

@aussieguy2109 Yes, moral values; meaning social rules according to the beliefs of muslim socity, not US socity. The Sahria Law (Islamic law), is only applicable to those who belief in Allah and all of the Prophes, from Adam to Muhammad. They belief in the Holy Books (from Torah to Qur'an), and in the hereafter (Paradise and Hell). And only those who summit to the Holy Law what has reveal in the past, for only those the law is applicale, not to those who are desbelievers.
-
@hakimborras moral values? like genital mutilation, female abuse, stonings, going to hell for eating pork or showing skin or touching a dog? Laws? like women getting forced to wear vails to not turn on men? rude words of expression? you mean like death to all infidels?
Oh please religion does not relate to morality. When people say they're religious they're just saying they a gullable and believe ideas with no proof.
In the free market system the cream is free to rise to the top. In a socialized democracy the milk is homogenized, the cream is blended with the watery part that contains dirt, hair and other impurities. If you enjoy cream in your coffee, you'll like the free market. If you enjoy drinking dirty milk, then have your social democracy.

@michelb08 The head on a beer is foam, not cream. Was the best you could do to try to find an inappropriate counter-example to my analogy? Nice try.
