I saw this film when it came out back in 1971 double billed with the Twins of Evil... I saw them recently and they are still very good horror films even by today's standards.

Double bill of horror on BBC 2, remember it very well.

one of the first horror films i ever saw, when bbc2 used to do back to back doubles on a Saturday, it scared the living crap out of me.
