@pensfaninstockholm You should be good as I use the same set up at times and no issues :). Just don't use 2.4ghz video and 2.4ghz radios together as range will be reduced.

@OzParkPilot I respectfully disagree. I do it daily. I'm flying on 28 watts per pound and never use full throttle even on takeoff at 2,250g. Don't believe the hype, watts per pound is an emotionally based argument. Wing, it's all in the wing. Our low Reynold's numbers let you pull ridiculous feats of lifting. People have come to expect power to fly instead of wing. 2,250g on 140 watts. No bull and lift to spare. Come look! :) rcgroups.com Vintabilly_NS

@Vintabilly That cant be right Im affaid - Thats like 20 watts per pound ! Even nano indoor models cant fly on such limited power.

@gary246810ify It's called an OSD (on screen display) and it lays the info over the video signal with a gps module. Cyclops, EagleTree, RVOSD are all common ones to look up.

@OzParkPilot 1200 watts? I'm running a 2kg 66" skywalker clone with FPV and canon belly camera on 160 watts with a 10x5 and have some power to spare. 350 watts will make the skywalker climb obnoxiously. :) Scorpion motors are talked well about. 1000 kv on a 3s and 10x5 sounds great.

what sise motor and prop do you use?
-
From what distance can you fly this plane? (maximum)

Im building the V2 ( with flaps ) now - Motor choice ? Im looking at a scorpion motor and figure I will need about 1200-1300 Watts with a KV rating over 1000 to run a maximum prop size of 10x5 ? Whatt are you running please ???
Im waiting to buy one from HK - Im not sure how you get the 2K figure ? I have Fatsharks AIO $300 - PnT + Camera $140 + this plane $100 and motor esc and sevos etc + $250 ?
Is it better than a skywalker ? Thanks

@OzParkPilot and $500 for a good RC radio... :). The Skywalker flies pretty much the same but you have to spend $20 on CF rods to beef up the wings. Without the CF the wings flap bad..so outta the box the 168 is better but also a bit heavier....

Hi
To buy the whole system including a controller how much would it all cost? for a beginner.

@TheJimmy5694 About 2k if just starting out but I would recommend a EasyStar or Blixer for a new pilot as this plane isnt easy to repair like a foamy.
