the questionability of the bible alone is proof of it's man-madeness.

Any book written truly by God would be immune to debatability....unless he was deliberately cruel to us.

hmmm...he did give us plagues, aids, volcanoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes,and the great idea of him being invisible to us...so....I guess he could have written the bible.

@otakucode Apostles then & ministers today stress that it is by faith & not works (good deeds, good behavior) r we saved. Am I still a schoolboy who gets punished for my disobedience? Man made God, then god made man who made world wars, civil wars, colonization & degradation by the colonizer, slavery, etc., etc.. It irks me when people say "and have a blessed day." It makes them feel good & feel how much their words can do for that poor soul . Words r cheap, do something tangible.

@otakucode ALL of the bible is the rehashing of prev. religious mythology from civs. All religions have a savior figure, all are killed and rise again.  The Act of the Apostles was NOT written by the name of the disciple entitled. They were written after the washed them away except for Noah. Noah's story purely symbolic. How do you keep elephants, lions, hawks with lambs n rabbits, etc.? He repented of making man? I thought He was perfect, master of past, present & future?

@karlkarlkarl1234 There is a LOT of plaigarism in the Bible. It is mostly a mishmash of older stories and stuff stolen from other religions. Just read The Epic of Gilgamesh sometime. Or anything about Mithras, one of the gods Jesus was based on.
