Attended their performances a few times in the late 80's. Was amazed by the specialness of Tuck's guitar. Bought a few CD's over the years. Went last night to Yoshi's. 20-some years later, amazed all over again. Such a special couple!

@hdraffin Thank you for mentioning Claire Hammill, the song's author. When I was preparing to sing this song at my wedding in 1990, I contacted Tuck & Patti's record label to see if there was sheet music available. I still cherish the copy of her handwritten score that Claire was kind enough to send me. Such a beautiful song.

@wynndough I agree. I am Mexican, and my wife is Vietnamese. I also play guitar and she sings. I came on YouTube to show her Tuck and Patti. I hope to play music with my wife for the rest of my life. She is God's proof of His love for me. I know God loves me because He gave me the best woman in the world as my wife. Gosh, I am so sappy!

Earth hasnt near enough of this type of music. I can only hope the afterlife is crowed with sounds like this.

Thank you Tuck Andress and Patricia Cathcart for gifting me a song that I have sung and played at my friends funerals and weddings and always it has brought light and love..."...I'm gonna stand on a mountain top and tell the news - that you [both] take my breatha way..."

I first heard Patti (& Tuck) do this in 1985 or so at the Caravan of Dreams in Fort Worth..........Patti singing without her shoes is a real treat!
When I married in 2005, a few months later in Austin we saw them, and my email request for 'In My Life" she dedicated to me and my new wife from the stage.....sure were a bunch of misty eyes in the audience that night!
