I was one of his first students when he first opened the school on 28th street in 1974. I did it for a couple of years but other things interfered with my studies, like moving away from NYC, and so I did not continue unfortunately. Grandmaster Shum is a great teacher and person.

The dubbing doesn't take anything away from it. I've trained Ying Jow Pai for about 15 years now and have met him a few times, and I can honestly say he changed my life, and help build my love and bond for martial arts. A very amazing man.

Live interviews are always tricky but at least no one mistakely cursed or said anything embarassing.

oh ok, well, it just seems like when he says something along the lines of "altho not generally tought of as a weapon, it is" it seems so...idk...awkward? i guess would be the word for it.

This is the original version of the set. Nothing too differnet but I like those kicks in there.

Wow this is rare. This was a decade before I started :(
i dont like the voice over during the form, it sounds very awkward. and some of it seems very obvious. but the form was beautiful. so great to watch a master, and my grandmaster, perform!

voice over was done on a LIVE cable show back in 1982.
