  • @SuperKendall83 Yeah... Smallville's series finale was horrible. You think with all the hype and time invested in the show, they could have come up with something better. -_-

  • LOL! Christoper Reeve was a very good Superman, and he was trained formally as an actor at Julliard. Dean Cain had experience as an actor in tv & film prior to playing Superman, b/c his father is a Hollywood producer. Also Dean Cain was the only Superman who was also an accomplished athlete, an All-American star football player. In contrast, Brandon Routh, who flopped as Superman, and Tom Welling were only wussy models prior to playing Superman. They're the worst actors to play the role. lol

  • @MarquisdeSade825 Chris reeves and dean cain might have been better actors, but modern day technology really made superman returns look so much more badass. I can't take the older movies seriously when the effects are that bad. Same thing with the incredible hulk.

  • @StuartTheGamerNerd He was bald in one episode though.

  • @luke666808g Lol late, I know. Well it's just a personal preference. I don't think he needs to be a behemoth, but it looks awkward for a skinny guy in tights to lift a train off the tracks or stop a plane. Maybe that's why I didn't like the spiderman movies... >.> Whenever I conjure an image of superman in my mind, he has some muscle. He doesn't need to be Schwarzenegger circa 1970, that'd be ridiculous.

  • @SUPERBOY6001 And I agree. They are all Supermen, just different versions of him. So some people will favor one over the other, but in the end they portray the same man. I guess the problems I have are with how the writers either changed Clark Kent's demeanor or how the image of Superman changed. This argument could go on forever, to each their own.

  • @SUPERBOY6001 Wow....Aren't you a bit rude and I see you didn't actually understand what I wrote. I never said their acting was bad, but that their version of superman wasn't my cup of tea. I really enjoyed Welling's performance in Smallville. However when it came to being superman, which only happened in the last episode, he fell short a bit. I think it's mostly due to how rushed it felt. Also his contract said that he didn't want to wear the suite (notice how it was cgi) or fly that often.

  • @miraixenia shut it. Welling was a PERFECT Superman. And Routh's performance was GREAT. Reeve and Cain were also SUPERMEN, but to me, Superman stays Superman.

  • it was very great tv show in 90's...for me Reeve,Routh,Welling n Cain played fantastic Superman..

  • @miraixenia i just wish they'd make a spin off that ignore's some of the continuity and actually have other live action superhero's appearances that the show actually GOT RIGHT without the actors that portray them being too busy to star in more then 2 or 3 episodes unlike Smallville itself

  • i guess we can only assume its a toupee he wears like the original movie

  • seriously though....Lex Luthor with hair???? AHAHAHAHAHA!
