im 17 and im not scared of getting older at all! trust me i am the biggest child you will ever meet, but still, im actually really excited. Just think of all of the stuff your gonna do when your older, and twenty is nothing, your entire life is still ahead of you! and age is really just a number, i dont think it means anything, youll only let go of your youth if you choose to

I was freaking out about turning 20 also, I didn't even celebrate it and didn't let anyone buy me presents (but they did anyway and I kept them, it's rude no to accept presents) but turning 21 was not as scary, with 21 I can drink legally anywhere in the world, which is nice. In few months I'll be 22, that's a cool number so I'm not scared of being yet one year older.

So all in all, being 20 is a turning point so it's not weird that you're scared.
