2010 Snowball Derby Showdown

Speed51.com's "secret weapon" Rebecca Kasten won Thursday night's Media race at Fast Eddie's Fun Center gokart Snowball Showdown. Kasten received expert blocking of the competition by 51's Duke Kentfield after he was spun at the start, allowing Kasten to hang on to the win with fellow 51'er Elgin "Stat Boy" Traylor finishing second.

Former racer Doug Stevens, who now works for Tyler Millwood, won the Snowball Showdown Karting race at Fast Eddie's in Pensacola, FL. Andy Pugh, who won the Snowball Drivers Karting prelim earlier in the evening, finished second.

I should've said something to you guys and the wonderful staff at Fast Eddie's Fun Center while I was there, but thanks for putting together a great event like this! I had a lot of fun rubbing fenders with all the drivers, media and fellow fans. I might not be able to travel down for the Snowball Derby every year, but maybe next time around I'll get a group of friends to come along and we'll put a little bit of a "Pennsylvania Posse" spin on the Snowball Showdown!
