For June Kittay, this performance is a fantasy. Throughout her life, she was told dancing was only a dream. At the 2009 AARP Convention in Las Vegas, June attended a seminar encouraging and motivating seniors to renew their zest for life and challenge themselves. Shortly after returning to Tampa, June saw an advertisement in Senior Magazine for auditions in the Bright House Network Senior Talent Show, and she decided to try out.
It is readily apparent to anyone who meets June Kittay, that she lives and breathes the words spoken at that AARP seminar she has an abundant zest for life and never stops challenging herself!
