And the reason I didn't reply is because she's got the same incorrect argument over and over and I just couldn't be bothered anymore... The whole song is about being above men, not united and equal with them. They only way a salute could be a symbol of unitedness (which by the way isn't a word) is if the girls saluted themselves, which as I've said and you can see, they don't do.
