Because I was constantly being told that I'm rejecting God, and I knew that wasn't true, I decided to research rejection, which made me aware of its effects. My studies took me in a completely unexpected direction. The epiphany (pun intended) was rather shocking. The evidence indicates that the personal god is a manifestation of the ego, which explains a plethora of theistic tendencies, including their typical dislike of atheists, who theists subconsciously perceive to be rejecting a part of themselves. God is Tyler Durden; and the first rule of Jesus Club is you have to talk about Jesus Club. The second rule of Jesus Club is you have to talk about Jesus Club.

I wasn't being sarcastic by the way, I really do think all dogma should be hunted down and shot, as they are tools of tyranny and fear. Hope you were not offended

Maybe the light you are referring to is Lucifer himself. Isn't he an angel of light? Has he taken you over through your refusal to really question and examine yourself? You've made baseless presumptions of non-existent evil in others. Professing to be a christian, then proceedn to judge others. Forgetting to forgive, directly contradicting the teachings of your teacher. Lighten up and give these people the benefit of a doubt. To quote a phrase, that is all they are expressing, skepticism & doubt

You mean "statistically" more likely. Saying "scientifically more likely" can be misleading since it ignores the fact that statistics don't apply to individuals, so it says nothing about what *I* am more likely to do. I'll concede that some studies seem to suggest this. That's one of the few "positives" I can see about religious belief though - if it even is a "positive", which is a value judgement. It doesn't seem to help much overall re morality/ethics, for example.

In fact, atheists, or those accused of holding atheistic beliefs, may be subject to discrimination and persecution in some Islamic countries. Compared to other nations, atheists in Islamic countries face the most severe - sometimes brutal - treatment. It's hardly only Christians who face discrimination in these countries. So is Islam a religion? I don't recall singling out Christianity. So how does this refute anything I've said? In fact, this seems to me to only further support my point.

You still don't seem to understand what you read very well. I know your argument. As I said, you've provided no evidence or rational basis for your claim.

"and you fail me as an atheist."

    You fail in many ways.

1: "but it had to start somewhere" Not everyone necessarily believes it had to start somewhere. Some think it may have always existed. We don't know what, if anything, preceded the Big Bang, but saying it was "god" doesn't tell us anything, since at best it's a guess and doesn't tell us anything about this "god".

2: But it's okay for Christians to try to force their beliefs on everyone else? If you weren't aware that they've been doing that for centuries, you're not very well-informed.

1: Well the creation of the universe. Not the seven days bullshit about the earth, the creation of the universe it's self. how the hell did it get there? You can theorize about stuff before our universe. but it had to start somewhere.

2: I'm not saying god exists. I believe in that possibility, I'm not asking you to not be atheist all i want is for people to stop picking on Christians.

if secularity wasn't smart enough make criminal activity like killing your child legal, then it'd be easy to show how inhumane and evil it is.

let's see, obviously islam is included in the data that your source uses. and what do you know, muslim countries are killing christians everyday. of course, i already listed that for you. and since you love going off topic (moral argument?), did you find any atheist martyrs yet? any atheists who believe unto death? just one of many topics u left.
