0hhh. Well the reason of being shocked by that weight is I own a 90 jdm FairLady z32 TT slick top. And my car is bone stock pretty much. And weighs at 3350lbs. I don't have a huge stereo system. But now I see in perspective in what your talking about. But an additional 400 lbs is insane! IMO of course! ;)

@coolcat350z i understand your point, but you should at least look at the huge intercooler the car has, that thing alone must add a couple of pounds plus the new turbos which are much much larger, not sure if they were gt30 but they are much larger, not to mention the bigger throttle bodies, intake manifold.. the car has been built completely, it has even an additional battery now for the meth injection and more things it has, ill be uploading soon when the car gets tuned, it should reach 1kwhp

@coolcat350z the 300zx t-top supposedly weights 3602lbs, i say this one with the extras in the whole engine with bigger turbos, bigger cams, the built engine plus the big speakers on the back, amplifiers and the rest of the things including bigger fuel pumps etc, id say it weights more than 100lbs over stock

@axelexele dont be so sure, car weights 3700+lbs... srt4 just didnt have enough power, at that time the 300zx had 564whp, now it has around 1000whp, not sure about the srt4 though, it had a really big turbonetics turbo cams straight exhaust and tune (dont remember the psi)

my 93 300zx twin turbo coupe weighs 3480lbs with a fmic. I do however have a lightened flywheels and underdrive pulley and a full exhaust which takes off a lot of weight. But 3480ish isn't all too bad considering all the power that mo fo makes and i had a 1/4 tank of gas.
