One minor technical point. Billionaires don't get "bonuses". They PAY the bonuses. There isn't a single billionaire ever who got there by being an employee.

This must be purgatory because the people that see problems in this world, with, specifically, the Mayor of New York, can only come up with associations, while true, it does not illuminate an answer...not constructive at all. It only adds to the hate that the masses have for those in power. Those in power truly trying to do some good for the people are biased, but it doesn't mean they are completely bad...I think he does a lot to help. Most critics concentrate on the problem instead of solution.

"Mr. Bloomberg knows that his reputation has taken hard blows in the fight over term limits. But he is apparently betting that the passage of time will restore whatever he may have lost in respectability." -- Clyde Haberman, NYTimes, October 27, 2008.

It's obvious satire....

Why Michael Bloomberg makes me wet:
1. Relentless pursuit of making NYC green.
2. Serves the poor and needy.
3. Incorruptable. Won't even accept a salary or mansion.
4. He treats everyone the same, regardless of race.
5. 311 to report nonemergency problems.
6. Created massive affordable municipal car parking facilities in support of public transportation usage.
7. Busted the corrupt NYC Board of Education.
I agree, but NYC is one of the most expensive places to live, so it would make sense to rehouse the poor and homeless elsewhere. On the same amount of money, they could enjoy a higher quality of life.

Term limits? Mike should be mayor (and governor) or New York City for life. It should be a permanent appointment, just like the Supreme Court.
Yes, devolve NYC from the Empire State. They're stealing our taxes.
