  • My favorite Desdemona so far. So moving and beautiful, like an angel.

  • I think this is the MOST poignant and beautiful Willow Song I have ever seen or heard, rivaling that of Mirella Freni (my favorite Desdemona to date) even! I was moved to tears! Bravissima!

  • So amazingly talented and deep soprano!!!!...my cousin Olga Nazaykinskaya is a wonderful russian baroque soprano. Thank you for sharing. Regards, Sergio.

  • Simply wonderful singing actress - Russians must be proud! Born for opera. Waiting for her new roles -

    Best regards

    Elena

  • A perfect Desdemona, vocally, acting-wise, her looks.... I hope they'll revive it at the MET so I can can see her in this role. I thought, as I saw her last night in DON CARLO that she'd be "THE" Desdemona I'd love to see and hear. This is superbly filmed as well.

  • Mesmerizing beautiful singing and acting. She is clearly rare among singers today. I saw her in "Don Carlo" and deeply moved by her performance. I just wish we had more singers like her on the stage at the MET.

  • Gorgeous beyond description.

  • I first saw Marina in the Met's Turandot. Today I again heard her playing Micaela in Carmen, a live HD broadcast from Barcelona. Wow! Very beautiful and moving voice.

  • @cmhmuscle

I know what you mean. Marina was out on her own, although I did like the baritone (Pang?).
