L.L., if you would just stop so much manipulation of tempo--you're going way beyond rubato.
You could be tops but musicians are just not buying-the-act. It's not just about taking-the-money-to-the-bank. Please.

@jpianod its supposed to sound like its bleeding, thats the idea; at least thats how i think it should sound. And the expression thing with lang lang is bullshit. music is not seeing; its about hearing. if you're irritated by his face close your eyes and listen to the music

@Sturrfry I disagree. I am currently studying this piece and I believe his interpretation is great. Every is heard. There is not one note that souded supressed or unspoken. Many other famous pianists who perform this piece perform it so fast that it is hard to hear every note. He may have performed a little too slow though. I do find it annoying that he appears to be so full of himself because of his expressions.

@weldon29 I agree with you. H is maturer than L

BEAUTIFUL!

@Sturrfry How are his interpretations terrible? And how does people thinking that Horowitz is good and that Lang Lang is bad makes Horowitz a bad pianist?
-
@Sturrfry How does Horowitz sucks?

Lang is not my favourite pianist, but how people can say he plays without emotion is beyond me...This makes me question peoples motives for not liking him. I'm I professional musician myself and I see this bullshit all the time. Please stop!
