Sense6 is a project collaboration between Microsoft and students from the faculty of Industrial Design, University of Technology, Eindhoven. The subject was about learning. We focussed on learning by doing and to provide tools for sport and activities that seem to have no coaching background. Sense6 provides a platform to share skills. An exemplar has been worked out for skateboarding. Tricks can be learned on this board by the extension of sensors and actuators. Tricks can also be recorded and shared with other, creating a community were participants become tutor and pupil.
Interfacing is established through use of Arduino and MAX/MSP ©.
TU/e Microsoft 1st year MSc. colleagues: Joran van Aart, Laurens Boer and Bram Braat class interaction design
