Nick ||Skins|| Who I am Hates Who I've Been

Just a quick video of Nick from Skins (Series 5). Basically I started this ages ago and got it to this point, but thought I should add more but whenever I came back to it I had no ideas so I decided it should end like this, unfinished, as it kind of represents where his character was left at the end of series 5. I agree with many others that Series 5 was not as good as earlier series, I think after the fourth series which was far to over-dramatic and depressing they tried too hard to make this series more light hearted and the characters ended up based on stereotypes too much. The best characters in my opinion were Mini and Nick both had some good scenes and bad scenes though, I really hope the writers can bring back that more edgy feel that series 1,2 and 3 had for series 6.

Personally, I feel that series 1 was awesome and s2 was AMAZING, 3 and 4 were a bit of a let down and 5 was all right. I missed a few episodes from the last series and didn't really care because I thought the characters weren't drawn as well as the first series. Nick wasn't anything great, neither were any if them, so I feel a bit sad. (I miss Maxie!)

@justmoijah Series 1&2 were by far the best, I liked series 3 athough I wanted Effy to end up with Cook. Series 4 was just stupid at times, and was too over the top although I did like Katies episode, seemed like the only episode properly thought out and written well. Series 5 was let down by the fact they tried to hard with the characters, they made them all certain stereotypes. Series 1&2 were amazing because the characters weren't overthought, they were just ordinary teenagers

I really liked Nick as a character!!! I thought his character was well written and certainly one of the best characters skins has ever done-he's up there with Mini, Chris, Cook etc., although I can't really say that till next series. As much as I am a die hard series 1-2 fan, for me series 5 was brilliant and a much better than series 3-4 because it was a lot more laid back like the first lot. Anyway, awesome vid!
