The Story of Matt & Harriet (Studio 60 Tribute)

First, let me start off by saying that this isn't the sort of video I normally put up online. When I'm working on a project (such as short films, concert videos, etc) I always have a project on the side that I do as a distraction. Alot of the times the things I'm working on get frustrating and tedious and I need something else to get my mind off the current project. At the same time, because it's still editing, it keeps me in the mood and usually leads me to revelations about whatever I was originally working on.

This side project turned into something more, and I'm sharing it because Studio 60 was a tremendous show. A show that shouldn't have left as early as it did. That said, realize that this was just for fun. Treat it as such.

A quick search on this site shows tons of Matt & Harriet videos, but they all seem extremely emotional and reflective to me. For such an upbeat and witty show I was surprised to see this. They're not bad videos by any means, just not the things I remember looking back. Here's hoping someone gets some enjoyment out of this little piece.

Even after all the years since this outstanding show was given the axe, I still miss it so much that it physically hurts. My God, just the possible stories revolving around the sub-plots are mind blowing! NBC execs should have been both ashamed and fired for their lack of vision, but they weren't. To this day, I guess they all feel that it's cooler in the basement, and to this day that's where they remain. So here's to Matt, Danny, Jordan and "The Big 3". In a perfect T.V. world, they live on.

This was the best show. It sucks that it had to end. Ergh.
