I guess the FYE arcade was owned by Nickels and Dimes, same people who own the TILT arcades. Alot of those are starting to close, because of the machine conditions and stuff.
-
does anyone know what happened to that In The Groove 2 dedicated cabinet?
-
yeah that was alright too. i played that at dave and busters in islandia a few years back.
-
@sportsngames9631 that game is okay but i would rather play that Lost World gun game there instead.
-
and one year later, they're still there. Nothing has been done! I want another arcade soooooooo bad. There's nothing in Suffolk except Chuck E. Cheese and Babylon Bowl.
-
lethal enforcers was 1 of my fav. games to play there so im glad they had it.
-
lol wow, you guys look different.
Awesome looking arcade! Look, they have Daytona, Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike, Harley Davidson and LA Riders, Neo Geo, Lost World, just needs a Sega Super GT, and Sega Water Ski in my opinion. BTW, is this arcade still open?

@paulsbuck5 Sadly not anymore. They closed in the summer of 2007. The FYE went out of business and they paid for the rent on the store while another company, Dream Machine, kept up the games. So when FYE died, they died too. FYE couldn't compete with Circuit City and Best Buy a few blocks down.
Most of the games ended up with one of the managers at the Tri-County Flea Market and some might even be at Peter Pan Games in Bayside.

FYE pays for the rent of the place and another company pays for and maintains the machines.
