    The best defensive line,most famous of all time.With NO championchips.In 1967 the Rams were blown by Packers 28-7 in Western Conference championchip game.They also could not hold onto a 17-7 lead in Minnesota 2 years later.The Purple People Eaters,Doomsday Defense,Steel Curtain all made it to it least 1 Super Bowl with the 2 latter winning it.

    The reason the Fearsome Foursome were so revolutionary is because like dick enberg said... this was one of the first successful teams that they were known for and that you were more excited to see the defense than the offense..these guys were going up against the likes of Gayle Sayers and even Jim Brown early on...this was before the steel curtain...
