Decided im going to start filming myself bowling as im really getting back into it after a 2 year leave from the sport. after watching this, glad i did! i have horrible form!! cant beleive i am averaging 195-210 with this form.

First off, let me just say these lanes were bone dry. My ball was hooking 3 times. As soon as it hit the lane, in the middle, and yet a third time in the backend. Almost every shot went across.... I just couldnt get the ball to my break point.... that being said, i focused on form, which MY GOD DO I HAVE BAD FORM. into it we go...

Horrible bent elbow, downswing completely initated by bending elbow. seriously about 90 degrees

Dropping ball horribly. That aint no good for the ball, the lane, or me right there.... my ball was bouncing when i released it. that is a HUGE drop

I dont care for the 4 step approach too much. I find my timing gets off too much with this. I tend to get ahead of the ball with it too often, so next week im going to try a 5 step approach, see how that works

  • Your gonna damage your ball bowling like that. It's not good for the ball or its core to bounce it like that. Try smoothing it out.

  • Slam it down. Try to stop forcing the release. Let the swing come from the weight of the ball.

  • or get the ball drilled right

  • if you keep getting that double bounce in the begining it will damage the core try glideing the ball and use a spare ball for your spares it will bring up your average .
