Dwight is still my favorite country singer, while country music has been over ran by cowboy hat wearing sell out pop stars, he still maintains the integrity of country music, and reminds us all what it should be.

Yoakam's music never was too steel-influenced...most of that sound was done by Pete Anderson on his telecaster. Rock infused backing or not, he's still more county than most (if not all) of the crap on country radio nowadays.
