SP at McCreedie Springs. In July 1984, a four unit helper brings down a freight after the two head end units went DIC. Listen as the helper set winds up the dynamic brakes.

@moonwalker5058 that's because the SP was taken over by the Union Pacific in 1997. These things I know.

@moonwalker5058 Me too. Don't you miss it! I do like the PNWR trains though...GP39-2 and SD40-2 and SD45s.

What do you mean when you say "the twoo EMD units went DIC" does it mean they broke or something?

Nice video! I also live in Oregon and have only seen SP on the PNWR line.
