HORSE FOR SALE - July 5th, 2011

Eli will be turning four years old in 2012 and is current on everything. He is pictured with his winter coat. He now has had his mane pulled and has gotten rid of all his long fur. I bought him green as a project pony and he has come a long way. He has his w/t/c down and rarely misses leads with the canter so long as the right cues are used. When ridden often he shows very little of the Arab spunk and acts more like a pony cross. Mind you he is young and when not ridden often he does get a bit hyped, but lunging solves that easily. He has been jumped up to 2 feet and has done cross rail courses with simple changes. He's also tried a few cross country jumps and hacked out on the trail and he absolutely loves it, alone or with company. He is insecure about bathing, but if you approach it with confidence he works off you and is fine. He has been bathed before. Eli has also been shown in a C rated USEF show at his home farm. After schooling, he was perfect. Placed 5, 6 and 7 out of 9, but he still has time to improve. Eli would make a wonderful boy for a small adult rider or an intermediate/advanced child or teen.
