  • It proves there's no accounting for taste, if you read Adams' bio, it says he didn't get selected for the VCE, but someone dropped out, so he was in, and now look what he's done. So people go for your dreams, rock it...

  • I just had an epileptic fit

  • @giveusallabreakman Art doesn't necessarily makes money but if you really understand that movie it was a very good story. And just because it lost money doesn't mean it was a failure. It's only means that people have no hearts like you.

  • Just got done watching Mary and Max. I loved it. Great story. BTW Tim Burton has a Victorian flair to most of his films too.

  • Mary and Max was the first film by Adam Elliot, and its really inspired me as an artist. In my opinion its unique, I like the way the film is realistic and not affraid to show the ugly side to life aswell as the good. You get the sense of relating yourself to the flims, which is really comforting. I'm very glad i came across Adam Elliot's Flms and clips. :-)

  • Before last night I had never heard of this director or his movies, as of now I have watched and enjoyed Uncle, Cousin, Brother, Harvey Krumpet, and Mary & Max. I hope very much he does another feature length film very soon.

  • @giveusallabreakman that was only in Australia

  • @Edmond491 JELOUS

  • "Brother" blew me away - I wasn't expecting to be so drawn in and deeply touched and moved by this short unassuming film. The potency of Adam Elliot's powerful and artful storytelling is impossible to adequately describe but can only be understood through direct experience.

I have just seen Harvey Krumpet and Mary and Max. Distinctly unique stories told with a distinctly unique style. Simply not to be missed! Thanks, Adam, for your profound affirmations of Life and our Human Spirit!
