NO vote = we are still in the EU, like we are now, and the EU must be more accountable to the people of Europe. It stops the runaway power of the EU parliament and its gravy train expenses.
YES vote = no way back, we can't undo mistakes made in the treaty or the EU, our say in EU is halved. Some countries say is doubled.
The mature thing is to stand up and tell EU to correct the problems, not to give in to the accusing tut-tutting of EU politicians trying to tell us we should be embarrassed.

Well it looks like I will be right, recent polls suggest Ireland will pass the Lisbon Treaty second time around, with most people citing the Economic situation as the reason. SO i dont think im an idiot.
-
u are obviously a brainwashed idiot..

What?! i wasnt saying you were conspiring to anything! lol
I was saying that i DONT think there is some New World Order conspiracy.
BTW You say "We are not plotting anything" who are you refering to?
-
A 'conspiracy' doesn't exist.
The word conspire means a plot. We are not plotting anything, we inform and try to POINT OUT EVIDENCE! Something most politicians and bankers LACK.
Choose your response carefully, by using the word 'conspiracy' you've convinced me you're either indoctrinated or conditioned to respond exactly how I think you will... ;)
Oh yes because the UK are now in Negative equity and the US owes trillions they clearly did the right thing with bailouts.
We don't have to pass the treaty, we'll do fine without it.
Fuck facism, Fuck the EU.

If the Irish give in, then we all lose. The EU is patently acting illegally by pushing forward with implementing the constitution (sorry, I meant, of course, the Lisbon treaty).
I have picked up a couple of vids on my blog which really show how much the EU parliament despises popular representation.
Until this constitution affair, I was very pro-Europe (for business, free travel), but I am now worried that they care only for power, not freedom, not democracy, not even the rule of law.
