Club d'Elf is the Boston based improv masters of morrocan soaked psycedelic drum'n'bass trace jazz blended w/ intergalactic utopian grooves, only standard member is Mike Rivard aka Micro....This show is from the Stone Church in Newmarket, NH. This show featurs Jerry Leake on percusion, David Tronzo on slide, Randy Roos on guitar, Dean Johnston on drums and Mr. Rourke on the wheels of steel. Clips 2 and 3 have no space between them......more to come. They will be back at this venue for New Years Eve of 2006!

man that bass sound kicks. What is it?
I've heard a couple of guys playing synth bass with line6 variax basses or roland gr synths before, but i always thought those synth sounds sucked. So far the only good synth basses i've heard are those who are played or programmed by keyboard players. This one sounded real good though.

I believe Micro is using a Fender Jazz bass (old school), it's obviously not his upright or sintir, I know he does endorse Fishman gear to some extent, but not really sure what his pedals are, he is a master though!
