Back To School Outfit Ideas (Fall 2010)

These are my ideas for some cute back to school outfits.

Products Used:

Outfit #1:
- Jeans American Eagle (look for some dark washed skinny jeans)
- Scarf Limited Too (any light weight scarf with a smiled pattern)
- Blazer Zara (look for a black one because it's the most versatile)
- Sweater Abercorombie & Fitch (look for one with a button up and then just wear a tank top underneath. if you dont want to wear a scarf put on a colored tank top underneath and it will spice up the outfit)
- Shoes: Slouchy black boots Macy's (if it's cold) or black flats Macy's by Steve Madden (if it's warmer or if you don't like the look of slouchy boots)

Outfit #2:
- Blazer Zara (look for one on the longer side so it doesn't look awkward when belted)
- Tank Top American Eagle (if you're wearing a more cream colored skirt make sure you find a more creamy tank top so they don't clash.)
- Skirt Forever 21 (lace is really in this season and a great way to do it is with a lace skirt. It's really feminine but you can give it an edge with a a leather jacket or a some black panty hoes.)
- Black Panty Hoes CVS (a great staple for your fall wardrobe. They will help make any skirt or dress fall ready, plus they keep you a bit warmer. If it's really cold you can substitute them for black tights.)
Belt Charlotte Russe (look for something that fits tightly around your waist, so you can really cinch everything in and define your waist. Look for something with a detailed buckle, to make your outfit more interesting)
- Shoes Black flats Macy's by Steve Madden (black flats are a staple. enough said)

Outfit #3:
- Top American Eagle (look for some simple flowy shirts that can be belted in to accentuate your waist.)
- Jeans American Eagle (again, just some dark wash skinny jeans, or you can pair this with some shorts if it's a hot day)
- Belt Charlotte Russe (if you can't find one that fits get one that's a bit too long and then punch a hole in it. Just make sure that it really fits your waist).
- Bangles Charlotte Russe (Bangles are in and gold is the in color for fall. so with a combination of the two you can't go wrong. Mix and match different sets for a unique look.)
- Gold studs don't know where (keep the earrings simple because you dont want to look too flashy and you already have the bangles and the belt.)
- Shoes Black Flats Macy's Steve Madden (for a more understated look) or Gold Sandals by Classified (if you're a bit more daring)

Outfit #4:
- Top American Eagle (the blue and white stripes follow the nautical trend)
- Bandeau Top American Eagle (a great way to avoid accidental bra exposure with lower cut shirts and it makes an outfit more interesting.)
- Jeans American Eagle (again just skinny jeans. Or shorts for a hot day)
- Belt American Eagle (this braided belt gives it a country feel. it was originally too long so i cut it short. and since it's braided there aren't set holes so it's easy to adjust)
- Shoes Brown Studded Sandals by Dulce Vita from Macy's (look for a brown shoe to tie in the brown belt)

Outfit #5
- Tank Top American Eagle
- Skirt Forever 21 (a blue skirt is very versatile and follows the nautical trend. and because it's high waisted it will accentuate the smallest part of your body.)
- Sweater Forever 21 (look for one that is warm but cropped to it wont make you look too short. this one's also nice because it follows the nautical trend as well)
- Earrings Charlotte Russe (I chose these because they will bring out the copper detailing on the sweater)
- Shoes Sandals by Dulce Vita from Macy's or black flats by Steve Madden from Macy's (the sandals give it a more summery look where as the flats will give it a more sophisticated one)

Outfit #6:
- Shirt Urban Outfitters (look for fun statement tees that can be worn on a day when you're running late or with a simple skirt.)
- Skirt Forever 21 (look for a plain skirt with a simple cut so it's very versatile)
- Bracelet French Market (keep the jewelry to a minimum because you dont want to overwhelm the graphic tee)
- Shoes Black Flats by Steve Madden from Macy's (again keep them simple.)

Outfit #7:
- Sweater American Eagle (look for staple colors - white, black, & brown - try to find ones that are on the heavier side and with long sleeves so that you stay warm)
- Dress Nordstroms (just shop your closet for some of your favorite summer dresses and then make them work for the fall as well)
- Black Panty Hoes CVS (a great way to bring your summer dresses with you, they'll help keep you warm and give a more wintery feel.)
- Shoes Black flats by steve madden from macy's
