Let's Play Contra Hard Corps. |01| Stage 1 (ABCD) - Ray Poward

So, here we go, another fun little project that I figured I'd start. Enjoyed the ever loving hell out of this game as a kid, but come to find out, it's apparently hard! So not too many people were actually able to complete this back in the day. Which is where I come in now!

Since I know, as simple as it is, my alternating characters throughout the stages is going to confuse people, here it is in writing.

There are 4 endings in the game, 4 characters in the game, each character will get one of the endings. There are 2 points in the game where you have to make a choice, the combination of these choices determines your ending (and some of the stages played).

So, four "story arcs", let's label them "A, B, C, & D". Choice #1 is made at the end of stage 1.

Paths A & B, occur if you follow Deadeye Joe, while C & D, happen if you go to the research center. Browny the robot is taking part A, Ray gets B, Fan gets C, and Sheena gets D. Capiche'?

Now, I'll be alternating between characters throughout the game. In other words, Ray gets stage 1, Browny stage 2 (AB), Sheena Stage 2 (CD), & Fang stage 3. And repeat until all ending have been acquired. That equals out to 3 levels per character.
