    Most of her explanations were given while doing the exercise, she recommended that most to be held for 20 to 30 seconds which she did not do, and I believe the title of "5 minute ...." was meant to be a general statement and not taken to be an absolute; but good catch--I guess.

    Isn't it better if you do dynamic stretching before the weights workout and static after, because it will make the muscles loose and relaxed and this will lead to a decrease in strength?
